Matata comes up again with a brand-new offering dubbed ‘Achuu’ that features one of the best female rappers Kenya has ever seen.
Matata which comprises Marcus Ojiambo, Ken Kimathi, Festus Mwenda, Richard Mathu, and Fredrick Milanya have finally got to work with the Norway-based Kenyan rapper Stella Mwangi who has been holding down the hip hop scene from there.
Matata is also based in Norway and it was only a matter of time before the two music acts came together and work together on a project.
This is the very first time Matata and Stella Mwangi have linked up to release a song together despite both of them being in the same country.
This is the very first project Stella Mwangi has put out.
She hasn’t released any new projects in a couple of months and her being in Matata’s new hit record ‘Achuu’ is rather poetic since she got to bounce back on a record with fellow Kenyans.
Matata’s record producer Pink Zola is dead
Stella Mwangi makes the ‘Achuu’ record even more special when she raps in fluent Gikuyu once again proving how appreciative she really is of her heritage and African roots. She’s a true pan African.
After watching the official music video for ‘Achuu’ and streaming the same, there’s no way they won’t run it back once again, maybe numerous times. It might be Stella Mwangi who features Matata on their next collaborative project in the future.
It’s nothing but fireworks when Stella Mwangi and Matata get to work together to uplift the Kenyan flag on the international level.
