Marya Prude narrates how she contemplated suicide while she was married to Willis Raburu

Marya Prude and Willis Raburu got married on May 5th, 2017 in a low-key colourful wedding. Their marriage however failed the test of time.

Prude and Raburu went their separate ways just three years into their marriage, and their breakup was announced to the public sometime in May 2020.

Raburu’s ex-wife recently took to social media to narrate how she contemplated suicide a few years ago while she was still married to the Citizen TV presenter.

Through her Instagram page, Marya shared an emotional post, appreciating that she was able to pull through that tough time.

“Allow me to love on this woman here, during this time her world was falling apart, she was battling panic attacks, spiritual attacks, ulcers, depression, suicidal ideation, grief, it was difficult to breathe, everything she thought was familiar or regarded as home was strange and scary,” she narrated.

Marya stressed that her decision to walk out of her troubled marriage was the best thing she did while going through depression.

“Nevertheless, She made the best decision of her life, while in so much pain, with the small wisdom and knowledge she had at that particular time. Damn! I’m so proud of her 🥰. I wish I could go back in time and hug her and let her know, her latter days are better and brighter.🥹

“So if you’re going through a dark tough time right now, I would like to send you hugs and assure you, it’s going to get better 😘,” she wrote.
