Marioo has for the first time addressed reports that his girlfriend Paula Kajala suffered a miscarriage.
In an interview on Wasafi TV, Marioo did not confirm or deny reports that Paula had indeed suffered a miscarriage.
“Msisikilize hayo maneno, nafikiri tuachane na hilo kwanza. Mama [Paula] yuko mjini na mtarajie tu kumuona, lakini hayo masuala ya kuharibikiwa kwa mimba mimi sijui lakini pia hapo kwa swali na kuwa na mimba tuombe Mungu tuseme Inshallah,” Marioo said.
The artiste later opened up saying that he is not ready to talk about the issue involving his girlfriend Paula in the interview.
“Kusema ukweli kabisa, ukweli wangu kutoka Moyoni siko tayari kuzungumzia masuala kama hayo. Wakati mwingine tutaonana huko na tutazungumzia hilo, lakini tuseme inshallah,” he said.
Marioo said that he would really like to have a child regardless of gender and also said that Paula is ready to change her religion from Christianity to Islam.
Marioo’s statement comes a few days after Paula through her Snapchat page suggested that she does not trust men anymore, saying that they will not go to heaven.
“Mbinguni sipajui sana ila ninaweza sema wanaume hawatafika kule,” Paula said.
