She was once the “party girl” at the center of a viral scandal that gripped the nation—but now, Marion Naipei is handing out fire-and-brimstone warnings from the pulpit of social media.

The reformed adult movie star, who famously traded the club for the church in January 2026, has sparked fresh outrage after claiming that Christians who skip the Sunday offering are “lucky to be alive.”

In a high-octane TikTok Live on Tuesday, March 10, a defiant Naipei told her followers that their lives are “entirely in God’s hands”—and that without divine mercy, their “stingy” ways would have already led them to an early grave.

Naipei, who now serves as an usher at Prophet Victor Kanyari’s Salvation and Healing Ministry, didn’t hold back as she clapped back at critics who have been “lashing out” at her new lifestyle.

“You guys are all over here lashing at me, yet you never even give offerings in church. You do not give offerings, I am sure. And that means you are living on mercy,” she told the thousands watching her stream.

“It’s only that God feels like giving you chances; otherwise, some of you would have very bad lives or some of you would even be dead by now.”

The social media star added that she is “bored and angry” with the unsolicited advice from people she considers hypocrites for lecturing her while failing to contribute to the church themselves.

The controversy comes as Naipei continues to flaunt the lavish support she receives from the infamous “Doctor Prophet” Victor Kanyari.

While rumors have swirled regarding a romantic entanglement between the two, Naipei was quick to dismiss the “boyfriend” allegations—though she made no secret of who is balancing her checkbook.

“Kanyari actually is the one who has paid my bills until now. You all should know that,” she boasted. “He pays all my bills, including my son’s school fees. Don’t even lecture me or tell me to stop bragging.”

Kanyari, who has faced his own share of scandals over the years, has positioned himself as Naipei’s mentor and “rescuer,” gifting her Ksh50,000 in cash during her first service and vowing to fund her education and business ventures.

Marion Naipei became famous in January 2026 after a video showing her in a highly intoxicated and vulnerable state at a Nairobi club went viral on social media.

The footage, which showed her dancing and stumbling in a compromised state, sparked a national conversation about privacy, consent, and digital shaming.

Naipei claimed she was recorded without her consent by a man she had met for a date, identifying him as James Opande. She alleged that she may have been drugged (specifically mentioning alcohol and cocaine) during the encounter.

The saga reached such prominence that the Cabinet Secretary for Gender, Hanna Wendot, issued a stern warning against digital shaming and ordered the DCI to investigate the video’s source.

Initially, she received significant sympathy and was assisted by Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria to record a statement at the Buruburu Police Station.

However in late January 2026, the narrative shifted as her “secret” adult videos surfaced. Some reports later suggested she claimed the fame and financial gain from the controversy were intentional, leading to a split in public opinion.

After a brief period of intense public scrutiny and a reported suicide attempt, she announced her “reformation” and joined pastor Kanyari’s fold.

However, many netizens remain skeptical of the “rebrand,” especially as Naipei continues to use her platform to hurl “unprintable insults” at her detractors.

As she settles into her new role as the Prophet’s most vocal defender, the “reformed” adult film star has made one thing clear: if you aren’t putting money in the basket, she doesn’t want to hear your opinion.
