After learning of the alleged Raila Odinga’s ‘assassination(which I highly doubt was the case)’ attempt, Kibera youth have gone crazy so much so that they started to uproot the railway line which made an officer of the law to open fire and allegedly kill a man in Kibera.
“We all need to send message of peace before things escalate out of control. Talk to anyone you can. Kibera is our only home. Police should protect our people and treat them well like any other citizen of Kenya.” said the Member of Parliament of Kibera
Kibra Member of Parliament, Kenneth Okoth says that all he wants is a peaceful Kibra, a peaceful nation and he is pleading with the youth to remain calm.
Let’s all keep and remain calm in this trying times and not resolve to violence as the only way forward because at the end of the day we are all Kenyans and we love one another, so Kibera youth don’t condone this, please be cool and let’s all go back to our houses and sleep because tomorrow is a yet another work day!
