Harmonize’s song ‘Uno’ was was deleted from YouTube after Kenyan producer Magix Enga successfully petitioned Google to have the song pulled down.
Magix Enga and Harmonize reached an agreement and decided to solve the issue amicably. The Kenyan producer on Monday announced that he had withdrawn his copyright claim on ‘Uno’.
‘Uno’ was ultimately re-uploaded on YouTube after Magix Enga announced that he had decided to forgive Harmonize for sampling his beats.
But before ‘Uno’ was re-uploaded on YouTube, veteran Tanzanian singer TID savagely tore into Magix Enga for petitioning Google to delete Harmonize’s song.
Speaking during an interview with Bongo 5, TID sensationally claimed that Magix Enga’s decision was part of a larger conspiracy by Kenyan music acts to bring down Tanzanian musicians. Further saying that he has banned the Kenyan producer from entering Tanzania.
“I don’t agree with this. This is greed and jealousy. I am aware of the issue and know the producer personally; he has totally erred. We had never heard of his song but when he realized that the beat had become successful considering that Harmonize released it, this k*d, Magix Enga, out of jealousy wants to soil the other person’s success. How many beats are sampled every day? Even if he were to sing it himself, it will never be successful like ‘Uno’. Namwangalia huyu m***o Magix na namwambia siku moja utakuja Bongo na tu**********sha,” said TID.
Adding that;
“As a Tanzanian, I can’t sit back and watch as he soils Harmonize. He has disrespected us. This is Kenyan propaganda, I know it well. They saw the song soar in popularity and want to pull our compatriot down. Even if he removes it from YouTube, it doesn’t help him.”
Magix Enga has since responded to TID’s diatribe. Taking to social media, the Kenyan producer said that stated that he does not care if TID bans him from entering Tanzania because he is a nobody.
“Tag whoever this guy is and tell him no fucks given 👑 Na Comments Za Matusi nikama zimepungua 🤔 Mwambieni Boss Atume Bundles #TAKECARE 😂😂 sounds gay ✌️ Twa Twa,” wrote Magix Enga.
