Luhya Man Who Stole 270k From Pangani Police Station Faces The Axe

Oliver Wanyama last week on April 12th 2016 stole Kes 270, 000 from a safe at Pangani police before fleeing to Bungoma upon learning he was being tracked.

Oliver who was a cleaner at the police station stole the money after he discovered the safe in the police station was unlocked.

Oliver was arrested in Bungoma with some of the cash he stole. He was ferried back to Nairobi to face charges for his crime.

The suspected was today presented before Magistrate Daniel Ogembo at the Milimani law courts where he was found guilty of theft.

Part of the money he stole was presented as evidence in the court proceeding. The magistrate sentenced him to three years in prison.
