This list was compiled after I did some research, asked my peers, my elders, my friends and Central benga enthusiasts and they told me that these are the very best of Kikuyu music in Kenya right now.
I was happy to finally get to find the ‘Gatheri’ song on YouTube, I have been searching it for years and now that I know the singer to the song, Mr. John Ndung’u, I know for sure that I will play it on repeat till 2022.
