Former KTN news anchor Lindah Oguttu was among the candidates who were shortlisted for appointment as Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAS).

Lindah’s name was however missing from the list of those who were ultimately nominated by president William Ruto as CASs.

Ruto on Thursday, March 16, 2023, nominated 50 people to fill the positions of  CAS following the recommendation of the Public Service Commission.

The nominees’ names were forwarded to the National Assembly for consideration and approval by Parliament in accordance with the Public Appointment (Parliamentary Approval) Act (No. 33 of 2011).

Lindah Oguttu took to social media to express her feelings after Ruto failed to pick her as CAS.

“Ni kama pale CAS kimeumana. Wacha nioge nirudi soko. Tumeni sabuni mbio mbio mapema ndio best,” she tweeted.

Even though Lindah Oguttu missed out on CAS nomination, fellow celeb musician Jaguar was nominated CAS in the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Arts and Sports which is headed by Ababu Namwamba.
