Hip-Hop legend ProKid is expected to be buried on Sunday.
The Minister of Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa and Mazibuko visited the family at the late rapper’s home to finalize funeral and memorial details.
“It pains us when we see them pass on at such a young age. The officials of government have been working with the family the past few days. Today we were looking at the preparations.”
The Musician died last week Wednesday after suffering a severe seizure when he went to visit his friend in Johannesburg.
There are ongoing negotiations to have the musician buried at the Westpark cemetery the negotiations are led by Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Faith Mazibuko.
“Together with the City of Joburg, we are negotiating that he be laid at the Heroes Acre at Westpark Cemetery. He will lay with his peers like Mandoza and Robbie Malinga.”
