The government has received two Russian-made helicopters for the police. Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery and the Inspector General of police Joseph Boinet were at Wilson Airport to receive the choppers.
The two choppers were in service with the police before but were taken back to Russia to be refurbished.
The two Mi-17 Helicopters are majorly used for transport. They will be used to airlift police to where they are needed in cases of emergencies.
