LB is a rapper like no other in Kenya, he’s been consistently putting out music without relent despite his busy schedule being a student in South Africa.
For the past six years, LB whose real name is Lucian Basil was based in Port Elizabeth, and Cape Town pursuing his Bachelors and Masters in Economics moving back to Kenya this year in hope of taking over the music industry and dominating the hip hop scene while at it.
LB has had the chance to work with renowned producer and DJ Advent, Pretoria rapper and producer KudaFreshBunz, as well as several underground artists from Port Elizabeth and Cape Town such as BENNOTBENJAMIN, and Clover Carter.
LB also got to chance to meet with Shane Eagle at a show in Port Elizabeth back in 2018 where he opened up for him, he’s even met up with FLVME at a show in Cape Town in 2019 where they both performed at.
LB and Flvme have since connected on Twitter and have been planning on working on a collaboration record since then, it’s only time will tell when this will come to fruition.
LB is super confident in his music abilities, as an artiste and there is some truth in that, you’ll believe in what he has to say in his recently released studio project dubbed ‘Attitude Adjustment 2’, somewhat a sequel of the first installation of the project with the same name ‘Attitude Adjustment’ released 2 years prior to the recent one.

Growth is evident throughout the LP as both DAZZ and LB put together their strongest pieces of work to date.

His idea of taking over the Kenyan music industry, especially the rap scene isn’t far fetched at all, he got what it takes to take the country’s hip hop scene to the next level, he’s got the flavor, his own flavor that hasn’t been touched and/or tapped by the current rappers in the country today.
The ‘Attitude Adjustment 2’ studio project will instantly make you become an LB stan, probably for a lifetime. He isn’t just good at what he does, his lyrics has a way of connecting with the listener, talking about relatable things that most of the time a lot of rappers shy away from mentioning.
You might have not heard of LB, but soon enough, you’ll get to know all about him and to some extent feel bad that some of you hip hop heads were sleeping on him when clearly he’s got what it takes to be among the top rappers in the country today.
