The message posted by the officer on his WhatsApp status emotionally asked for forgiveness for his family.

In the message, Maslah also asked to be granted passage to heaven from God.

The emotional last message of Constable Abdihakim Maslah has been revealed by those who knew the rogue officer.

The message that was posted as a status by Maslah on his WhatsApp emotionally asked for forgiveness for his family.

The officer in the message confessed his love to God and asked for passage to heaven.

“Ya Allah forgive my parents en my brothers en sisters and all Muslim especially a brother u en i know. Ya Allah i love u. Give me alfirdaus (heaven),”the message by Maslah read.

Maslah who schooled at Tarbaj primary school and Wajir high school was described as a quiet and religious man who graduated from Kiganjo police college in 2013.

Reports said Maslah had been unhappy since being posted at the remote police station and had several times been asking for a transfer.

After being denied a transfer the officer is said to have written a resignation letter but his bosses convinced him to stay in the force.
