Kenya’s music sensation Ethic has been dealt a heavy blow after their song was pulled down from YouTube for copyright violations.

The breakout group, which shot to fame in 2018 with their hit song ‘Lamba Lolo’, had released a new song dubbed ‘Figa’ before someone flagged it on YouTube for copyright infringement.

Apparently Ethic new song’s beat, which was produced Motif, was an imitation of another song called ‘Cono’ which was sang by Uri, Jhorrmountain and Adje and whose audio was released on 9th December 2017.

Ethic quartet, Rekles, Swat, Zilla and Seska, had invested heavily in their new song ‘Figa’. The group featured radio presenter Kamene Goro as their video vixen. In every stride Ethic makes, they seem to make history in the Kenyan music industry which before them was accused of lacking an identity.
