Dancehall star Stephen Karuga alias KRG the Don has opened up about how he made his money, admitting that most of his wealth come from his businesses and not his music.
Speaking during an interview with Dr Ofweneke on TV47, KRG disclosed that he made his first million at the age of 17 when asked about when he became a millionaire.
“That was in 2008, I was 17 years,” he said.
KRG further disclosed that music doesn’t earn him a lot of money compared to his businesses which are his main cash cow.
He noted that his hunger for money was the motivating factor for him to become rich.
“The secret of making money is first dependent on the level of hunger for the money you have, it depends on what you want in your life and how much you want to achieve in life,” he said.
KRG further disclosed that he was worth about Ksh5 billion.
“I think I am approaching Ksh5 billion,” he said.
