Kenyan Dancehall artiste KRG the Don is preparing to do an exciting collaboration with Nigerian international star Davido.
KRG bagged a collabo deal with Davido when he performed in Kenya over the Easter weekend at the Raha Fest in Uhuru Gardens on March 30, 2024.
Taking to social media, KRG expressed his joy over his music deal with Davido, noting that he has often heard people’s statements claiming that he can’t excel in music but has repeatedly proven to them that he can.
The Dancehall star said that he has a high level of confidence beyond the statements of those who say that he has no place in the local music industry.
“If you knew how many times I’ve been told I can’t, Only to prove I can, you’d get why I have faith in myself. #Bughaaa Msanii Wa president Tuko na #OBO aka #Davido soon we cooking something spicy for my people 😉 #SWK1 ❤️ x #Bughaaa 650Yrs,” KRG wrote.
Despite his music not being popular in this country, KRG emerged as one of the local artistes who seems to be very close with international musicians.
KRG is often seen in a private places and very close to visiting international stars, which has made some people call him the “deep state artist.”
KRG recently bagged a collabo with Jamaican dancehall superstar Konshens and dropped a song dubbed ‘Time Bomb’ which turned out to be a club banger.
