Musician KRG the Don has voiced his frustration with Gen Z youths participating in protests that disrupt daily activities.
In a recent Instagram story, KRG criticized the young protesters for their disruptive behavior, stating that they hinder the efforts of those who are simply trying to earn their daily bread.
KRG accused many of these youths of taking pride in causing disruptions under the guise of advising President Ruto.
He questioned their qualifications to advise a leader who has been in government since his early 30s, pointing out that some protesters might not even know where their parents live.
“God over everything. The Gen Z movement thinks running government is like running a kiosk,” KRG wrote.
“Most of the gen z don’t even know where their fathers live and they are here advising someone who has been in the government since he was in his 30s.
“Guys, you need to style up and know there are people who do business in the city and its environs. they don’t care who is doing what; they just want to do business because they have wages and bills to pay!”
KRG urged the young generation to consider a more respectful and constructive approach.
He encouraged them to run for office in 2027 if they believe they can govern better.
Emphasizing the importance of respecting elders, he noted that even when older individuals are wrong, there are better ways to address them than through violence and abusive language.
“Respecting people who are older than you is very important. sometimes, even if they are wrong, find a better way to address them, but violence and abusive words won’t solve our problems as a country. that’s blackmailing the government,” KRG concluded.
