The Ghanaian rapper who is not only a rapper but also an Afrobeat artiste has had a busy year with the ‘In The City’ record being the seconds single he released in the year after he released ‘Mariama’ song on Valentine’s Day.
Through his management company, GADone Records, Kofi Jamar is focused on taking over the international hip hop scene and it is rather poetic to have two of the celebrated African rappers; the BET award-winning rapper Ice Prince Zamani and AFRIMA, AFRIMMA winner Khaligraph Jones being a part of his international ascension.
Kofi Jamar is currently nominated at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Award in the “Unsung Category”.
Khaligraph Jones, Ice Prince Zamani brought all the heat on the record making Kofi Jamar looking great on the Jaysynths-produced record which is currently on rotation in three African countries namely Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria and it’s only the beginning of Kofi Jamar’s dominance since he is bound to make other major moves and ‘In The City’ hit song is just a mere beginning.
