King Kaka is an award winning Kenyan rapper with seven mixtapes and four albums under his belt and more than enough respect both in the streets and every where else in the world. The rapper who has helped many artistes come forth to discover their potential has introduced yet another talent called Yviona who began singing very young.
Her mother was a popular Gospel singer and she helped nurture her daughter’s dream. She began singing professionally in 2014. She would record herself singing and one day she sent her demos to Rapdamu and he loved it thus the journey began.
Rapper King Kaka has released the video to Thug Love featuring Yviona a single off his seventh Its The King Mixtape.
The song tells the typical Kenyan love story.
”There is always that lady who waits for her man at home, calling him to ask where he is. So many men are in the streets trying to make ends meet so that they can provide a better life for their families,” says King Kaka.
King Kaka has featured singer Yviona on the song.
”Working with King kaka has been a great experience. The first time I heard the beat i fell in love with it,” says Yviona.
The song was produced by and mix and mastered by Yo Alex. The video was shot by Johnson Kyalo for Empire Films.
