We all knew that the ‘Ligi Soo’ hit single deserved a remix when King Kaka first released it and when he decided to release a remix for the same, we were blown away by the brains behind it all, that record did not just break boundaries but also gave a platform to female rappers that we love to appreciate today like Petra, Wangechi and Femi One.

The ‘Ligi Soo’ remix was so huge and a hit success not only in Kenya but across east African region which made King Kaka dream about making it big in the entire African region and had his South African rapper HHP who he had worked with before to feature on the record to which he sent his verse which, King Kaka shared on social media, HHP’s verse was something that would have made the unreleased record reach even higher heights, he even raps in Swahili.

Speaking about his dream of making ‘Ligi Soo’ an entire African project, King Kaka said, “When I had just released Ligi Soo and the remix was on all the charts, I had a dream to spread it into Africa and the 1st artiste who graced the song was HHP. Thanks for believing and this was his verse. Ligi Soo Africa. Rest Jabba Man. #RIPHHP”.

HHP will surely be missed. Listen to his ‘Ligi Soo’ verse as shared by King Kaka.
