King Kaka has been in the music industry for some time now and his being there has seen the hip hop industry escalate to higher heights and his career flourish beyond any reasonable doubt.
Coming up in the music industry, the Kaka Empire CEO was brought out as a protege of Chiwawa when Chiwawa was on top of the rap music in the country and he has since come forth to become a music powerhouse that commands both respect and influence across all genres of music in the country.
That being said, King Kaka who broke the internet late last year with his hit record ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ calling out politicians by name has reached out to the upper echelon rappers in the game and challenged them solemnly.
The ‘Ligi Soo’ hitmaker asked Nyashinski, Khaligraph Jones and Nyashinski to bring up few artistes in the music industry which will, in the long run, will help out the upcoming artistes.
“This thing was a dream many years ago, and just seeing us on a different level now, on the throne, I love it. Three or four years ago I went to an interview and said Sauti Sol should pull up other artists, and I don’t know if they took my advice or the plan was already in the pipeline but now we have Sol Generation,” he said.
King Kaka gave a special, massive shoutout to Sauti Sol for bringing new, fresh, talented artistes like Nviiri the Storyteller, BenSoul, and Kaskazini in the music industry thanks to their record label and management, Sol Generation and thanks to them, we now have hit records like ‘Lucy’, ‘Pombe Sigara’, ‘Overdose’ which in the long run will help out the music industry as a whole.
“So I’m challenging Octopizzo, Khali and Nyashinski…we will keep making hit songs and they will trend, but who will people say you ever brought forward? I would like to see another young Octopizzo, Khali, and Nyashinski. Share your secrets with an upcoming artist.” King Kaka added on the clip that he shared on social media.
King Kaka is credited for bringing up artistes like Arrow Bwoy and Femi One who were both signed at his management company before Arrow Bwoy parted ways with the company cordially. Femi One is the one artiste from the pair to have remained with King Kaka.
Currently, King Kaka is nurturing an all-boys band group, Jadi who has started getting the buzz, clout, and recognition that they deserve thus far.
