Kidero sued over land acquisition in Kisumu

Kenya’s first Nairobi governor, Evans Kidero has been taken to court by one Kisumu resident, Mr. Peter Ochola over land he acquired soon after Ocholla came back from the hospital where he was hospitalized for a long time.

Evans Kidero bought the same piece of land in Kisumu from the same person, Peter Angira who sold Peter Ochola the same piece of land 12 years ago back in 2005 with a Title Deed and other relevant documents.

Mr. Peter Ochola told the environment and land Court in Kisumu that he found that the land that went disputed for the past 12 years has been sold to Nairobi governor, Evans Kidero.

Kidero told the judge that the land in question was legally acquired by him and that he has legal papers to prove it and also added that he was more than willing to help Mr. Peter Ochola get his land back so long as he dropped his lawsuit against him.
