Khaligraph, Sauti Sol and Ethic are the only Kenyan musicians nominated for the prestigious MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs).
MAMAs are back after four year break, with Uganda picked to host the 2021 MAMAs. MAMAs was launched in 2008 to celebrate African and international talent and achievement.
MTV Africa Music Awards- MAMAs returns after four year hiatus
The award recognizes and reward musicians, trailblazers and those who are shining a light on the continent’s diverse talent and creativity by instilling a positive impact on African music and youth culture over the previous year.
Khaligraph and Ethic have been nominated for Best Hip Hop category for MAMAs 2021, while Sauti Sol was nominated for Best Group category.
