Khaligraph Jones has made sure he has lived to his word which he gave earlier this year where he called himself the ‘Mr International’ because he wants to take the Kenyan music to the international market since he believes he has surpassed the plateau he had set for himself in the local and the east African market.

The ‘Yego’ hit maker has since released hit records, one after another with his current hit record ‘Leave Me Alone’ receiving massive airplays not only in the country but across the globe, he even got to work with an internationally acclaimed American video director while he was on his tour in America.

Afrimma Award 2019

Khaligraph Jones who has promised to bring back the coveted AFRIMMA award back to Kenya for the second time in a row after winning his first Afrimma award last year, teased the visuals for his new record that is about to change the Kenyan rap scene as we know it today.

“The OG shall Be Respected, We took it last Year and We will Take it again this Year, East Africa Stand Up, Kenya Stand Up, More Blessings Fam, #mrinternational #respecttheogs” Khaligraph Jones said about his nomination at the annual Afrimma award for the super competitive category of Best Rap Act. He will be going against Phyno, Olamide, Falz, Sarkodie, The Dogg, Cassper Nyovest, Zlatan Ibile, Nasty C and Medikal.

Khaligraph Jones is super confident he will win the coveted award this year as well and no one can argue about his confidence of winning the award, he has been really busy releasing hit records left, right and center, working with internationally acclaimed rappers this year alone with the best achievement of it being that he keeps on setting the standards in the hip hop scene and keeping other rappers on their toes with his numerous releases because they keep on coming.

Setting the Kenyan hip hop standards in music videos

His yet-to-be-released hit record which he hasn’t shared the name of clearly is bound to set standards in Kenya’s hip hop music videos since it was shot in the United States of America, with professional, beautiful and gifted melanin models being a part of the cameo.

Khaligraph Jones is going the Diamond Platnumz’s route by investing heavily in his music videos which in return will set the standards in the industry and help his music videos reach the international platforms where they can be picked to go head to head with Wizkid’s or Davido’s or Burna Boy’s music videos thus putting the Kenyan hip hop scene in a pedestal thanks to him.

Khaligraph Jones is indeed taking the Kenyan rap scene to new heights, to the international levels just as he intended to.

All he is doing today was not possible, they could only be imagined a couple of years ago, it was all a dream but thanks to Khaligraph Jones, it came to fruition.
