Former Blu Ink signed artiste Sagini real name Eliud Sagini who has worked with Khaligraph Jones in numerous records as a vocalist in records like ‘Khali Cartel’, ‘Mat Za Ronga remix’, and ‘Rider’ has passed on.
The promising talented who released his latest record dubbed ‘Moyo’ died in the evening of Monday, 17th December 2018 at Metropolitan Hospital in Buruburu after suffering from a short illness of Pneumonia.
This news comes as a shock and surprise to his fans especially after he released a new record a few days back.

“He has been unwell for some time now. Sometime in June, July he got some severe pneumonia attack but he was medicated. Seems the condition resurfaced a few weeks ago. Even at that state he managed to release his new song, he has so far done two TV interviews KUtv last Thursday and KTN’s str8 up, even during that time he was under medication. It’s sad this night, we have lost a brother, a great talent and a legend.” a close family friend who stressed on anonymity said about the passing of the musical genius, Sagini.
Taking to social media, his former boss and fellow artiste, Khaligraph Jones expressed his condolences to the friends and family of the promising music prospect who left this earth way too soon that he was supposed to and also opened up via Instagram to give out the gory details of how Sagini passed on as he was pronounced dead on arriving at the hospital.
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing away of one of Kenya’s greatest and promising talent Eliud Sagini better known to many as Sagini. Sagini left us this evening of Monday the 17th of Dec. 2018 after suffering a short illness. He was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital. Your prayers and support will Be highly appreciated in this moment of grief. @saginimusic” Khaligraph Jones posted on social media(Instagram).
