On the album which has 17 tracks in it, there’s oen record inside there dubbed ‘Beat It’ which when you finally get to listen to it, it might have thinking that he wrote it for his girlfriend after he was cheated on.

Khaligraph Jones finally opened up and explain how the ‘Beat It’ record off his debut album came about and how it’s in no way a record dedicated to his ex or any other person that he knows out there.

Khaligraph Jones answering a question from Afrotape of whether the ‘Beat It’ record was written for his ex girlfriend, Cashy he said, “that’s not really the case because this is a song that I recorded two years ago, when I was recoding the track, when I was coming up with the concept of the lyrics or rather when I coming up with the lyrics I already had the concept of the video in my mind.

So nilikuwa naindika nikiwa na video yaani coz mi hupenda kufanya vitu zangu zikae different, and of course because of my situation right now some people will assume that is directed to a certain person but hakuna yaani manze joh zii. It’s not something I’ve experienced but am very sure a lot of people have experienced that and just like I said about hiyo story yangu ya Instagram girls, mimi hupenda kujiweka kwa shoes ya watu wengine niexpain hiyo story tuiweke huko nje wasee iwabambe…ni ngoma nilirecord even when I was still in a relationship and even my ex, my girl aliiskia, tulikuwa tunaiskia pamoja but am seeing someone”

Khaligraph Jones also went on to give an advice after learning a lot from his previous relations, “you don’t bring your girl into this industry, you just don’t bring your relationship into this music thing unajua” he adviced.

Khaligraph Jones went on record to make it clear that him bringing Cashy in the music industry wasn’t the cause of their breaking up, “am not saying that mimi kuleta relationship yangu na Cashy kwa industry ilifanya tukaseparate but it’s just a lesson that I learned. Kulikuwa na kaexperience tuli-go through hapo hivyo na siwezi taka hivyo tena yaani” he added.
