Khaligraph Jones was somebody nobody[rappers] would have dared to cross his line by trying to diss him, it was somewhat like poking the lion in the eye because he was as lethal as it gets when it came to dishing out diss records and if you need further convincing, listen to his two records where he claimed he was the true King of rap in Kenya in the #whoisking hash tag a few years back.

Listen to the entire #whoisking records here: all the diss tracks from various top rappers for the #WhoIsKing competition, who do you think won?

The other day, one of the veteran DJ in the country who has played a major role in the molding of the music industry, DJ Pinye did a radio interview where he opened up about not playing mediocre music and asking all the DJs to not play songs like ‘Lamba Lolo’, or ‘New Position’.

He also talked about how he did not play Khaligraph Jones and DNA’s music back in the day but they still made it big in the music industry on their own through hard work and dedication to their craft.

” There are artists whose music I did not play back in the days including @KHALIGRAPH and DNA but their career has grown. I cannot play Lamba Lolo or New Position. Djs shouldn’t play mediocre music. – @DjPinye #NRGBreakfastClub” a tweet that was shared by NRG radio who interviewed Dj Pinye read.

Khaligraph Jones took to social media to addressed the statement that DJ Pinye made on the radio by saying that he’s changed for the better and if it were the old him, he would have dissed the DJ on a lethal diss record.

“According to Dj pinye, I used to make mediocre Music so he couldn’t play my mediocre music on his TV show, buda Ukona Bahati siku izi nimekua mpole kiasi na nina ka Heshima flani otherwise diss track ingekua ishatembea sai watu wana sing along mbaya sana , mazishi ni ile ile, #respecttheogs #Khalicartel2” read Khaligraph Jones Response.
