Khaligraph Jones has opened up about his writing and recording process admitting that he’s indeed a perfectionist in his craft.
The ‘Yes Bana’ hitmaker and multiple award-winning rapper who got cosigned by one-third member of The Lox, Styles P shared a short clip of himself recording one of his unreleased verses at his Blu Ink Corp record label just to show his fans how he usually “cook” his lit verses.
One curious appreciating the hard work, consistency, and class he puts on his craft took to the comment section asking him about his writing process and how he usually writes and memorize the lyrics before he records.
“So you write and then memorize and then all this[being in reference to the unreleased song Khaligraph Jones shared while he was in the studio]” the fan asked, going on to add, “We really got to respect the process.
And then, is there any song that you have on your mind that you’ve ever recorded in one take whether released or unreleased?”
The welcoming and humble rapper from Kayole, Khaligraph Jones answered the netizen and a keen supporter of his disclosing to him that above anything else, he’s a perfectionist and he wouldn’t have an issue recording the same 8 bars 20 times until he gets it right.

“am not a one-take Person,” Khaligraph Jones answered, “I can be if I want to but I’d rather record as I listen, I am a perfectionist. I Can record the same 8 bars 20 times till it sounds How I want it to sound like.”
However, Khaligraph Jones revealed that his third verse at the authoritative hit record ‘I am King’ was recorded in one take.
“… but Verse 3 Ya ‘I am King’ Was One-take,” he said.
All of these questions that were directed at Khaligraph Jones came about after he shared a video of himself recording a verse in his studio showing fans and haters alike how he’s been working hard in the studio trying to make a hit record especially during these trying times of the coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic.
Khaligraph Jones’ surprise sophomore album
Khaligraph Jones also hinted that he might as well drop a surprise sophomore studio album since he has enough compilation of unreleased songs.
Papa Jones the OG he’s been recording a lot of songs of late ever since the pandemic took heed and he’s contemplating releasing a surprise album on us unexpectedly though he wasn’t definite about it.
“The process basically how I have been recording in the past few months since the pandemic hit us,” Khaligraph Jones said, “might just surprise y’all with an album you never know.
