Khaligraph Jones receives a plaque for his debut studio album

Khaligraph Jones has landed another major win in his lucrative, successful music career thanks to his debut studio album dubbed ‘Testimony 1990’ that he released back in 2018.

On the 17-tracks project, Khaligraph Jones featured Ray C, Ycee, Timmy Blanco, Fena Gitu, Mr Eazi, Sagini, KO, Esco, Rostam, and Ria and so far he has one of the best studio albums in the country and across the African continent.

Khaligraph Jones’s ‘Testimony 1990’ is one of the best successful studio albums in the country, a hip hop studio album in that matter.

The Best rapper in Africa and a multiple award-winning rapper who also answers to OG received a plaque from BoomPlay for having over 500,000 streams on his studio album.

He recently received the plaque from Boomplay yesterday and shared it with the world grateful for his fans for enabling him to achieve such a milestone.

Jones is one of the two Kenyan musicians who received the plaque for achieving over half a million streams on their studio album.

The other artiste who was given the plaque was gospel artiste is Evelyn Wanjiru for her ‘Mungu Mkuu’ studio album.


Ever since Khaligraph Jones went mainstream a few years ago, he has been able to achieve a lot of accolade in the African hip hop scene and worked with some of the best artistes Africa has to offer.

He already has a project on the pipeline with a BET award-winning rapper from Ghana, Sarkodie and it’s only a matter of time before the collaborative project gets released.
