Khaligraph Jones who traveled to Nigeria for two things; one to attend the annual Soundcity MVP Awards and secondly to shoot the music video for his record with Ycee dubbed ‘Gwala’ might have found another reason to stay longer in Nigeria as he has linked up with the veteran rapper from west Africa, Ice Prince.
Even though Khaligraph Jones did not win the coveted award, he did his best representing the Kenyan flag in Nigeria and we commend him for that at least.
As much as he is busy working with Ice Prince Zamani in Naija currently, the Kayole born and bred rapper stirred an interesting conversation that dwells around the reason/s why Naija music gets precedence airplay almost every time than Kenyan music. Jalang’o responded to him on that.
Jalang’o to Khaligraph Jones: “did you know presenters don’t even choose music that gets played on Radio”
On the same note, Khaligraph Jones has made it clear that 2019 is his year now that he is international and that he is happy to be the reason for a very heated conversation in the country that will inevitably lead to a solution.
“So am the Reason of a very Heated Conversation in Kenya, the good thing is that the conversation has started and hopefully it lands us to common ground that will see this problem solved, meanwhile Mans international now, 2019 no jokes, watch this space, You shall respecttheogs”

That being said, Khaligraph Jones is busy working on a new project with Ice Prince who has worked with French Montana(actually he was the first African rapper to work with him), AKA, Sarkodie, Don Jazzy even Vanessa Mdee.
Khaligraph Jones has indeed gone international, his catalog has M.I. Abaga, YoungstaCPT, Big Star Johnson, Zoocci Coke Dope, Rayvanny, Christian Bella, Ycee and now he’s about to add Ice Prince.
His future definitely is looking up to the stars, and this collaboration with Ice Prince will most certainly open more doors for him and his career, remember his dream is to sit down with Kanye and buying beats from Andre(Dr Dre) after all.
