Khaligraph Jones promised that his latest release dubbed ‘Superman’ was going to change the Kenyan rap game to the next level and help put the Kenyan rap scene to the international market and his premonitions might have been right.
Having shot the music video for ‘Superman’ whilst in Dallas late last year where he attended the coveted Afrimma Awards and won the best rap act from Africa award, Khaligraph Jones is indeed aiming to capture the attention of the global market with his music and becoming the second Kenyan mainstream rapper after King Kaka to shoot a music video in America, King Kaka shot his music video ‘Eastlando Royalty’ in the city of New York with Tracy Morgan.

Khaligraph Jones who has since captured not only the entire Eastern Africa region through his music, he has also spread his musical wings across other parts of Africa like the Western Africa and South Africa where he has collaborated with well established rappers from mentioned regions like YoungstaCPT, BigStar Johnson, Zoocci Coke Dope, YCee with unreleased record with Ice Prince already on the pipeline.
“SUPERMAN WILL SET STANDARDs, SUPERMAN WILL MAKE KENYA PROUD.” he said this a couple of days back.
Popularly known as the OG, Papa Jones and/or Baba Yao, Khaligraph Jones declared earlier this year that this years was his year of becoming Mr. International with intention of taking Kenyan rap music global and with this magnificent wave and musical clout behind him today, there’s nothing or anyone on his way blocking him to achieve just that and his latest highly anticipated hit record ‘Superman’ which officially dropped simultaneously with the music video is the first step of achieving that goal this year.
Best watch this space since Khaligraph Jones is about to set precedence not only in the rap scene but for the entire music industry in the country.
The entire music video was shot and directed by the talented, most sought-after music video producer in the hip hop world, Jeff Adair in Dallas, Texas who has worked with Yella Beezy, Kevin Gates, T-Jones, Young Row, Bun B, Lanky Cresco, Riff Raff, just to mention a few internationally acclaimed rappers.
Before all that, now watch the music video of ‘Superman’ by Khaligraph Jones which sees him rapping in front of American thick video vixens and expensive V12 Lamborghini machine.
