Kforce:  I love Dj Pinye because him denying me airplay made me become a better rapper

DJ Pinye trended the other day after he said he won’t, can’t and will never play ‘New Position’ and ‘Lamba Lolo’ records anywhere and even went ahead to urge other DJs not to play songs like that deeming them mediocre.

He even went on ahead to say how DNA and Khaligraph Jones made it in the music industry without him playing them on the once demanding and popular TV show called The Beat where he had the last word of which songs were to get played on that show.

Coming forth to share his two cents on the matter is one veteran rapper who is by far one of the best lyricist and talented rapper Kenya has to offer, Kayvo Kforce(now going by Kforce) where he opened up about how DJ Pinye refusing to play his music made him push even more in the music industry to become even better.

The rapper -who comes from Kibera and commands respect and love from Kibera people than most rappers and also respected fellow artistes is currently working on his album ‘The Statement’- has opened up about how much DJ Pinye only favored working with Octopizzo and Octopizzo alone.

Kforce also opened up about how DJ Pinye asked him to stop representing his ghetto, Kibera and telling him that his music won’t sell as much as Octopizzo’s would back in the day because of Octopizzo’s sad story.

Kforce who is by far one of Kenya’s OG when it comes to rap and hip hop had these to say about the DJ Pinye situation since everybody is opening about the disk jockey on the netizen streets.

I DONT HATE DJ.PINYE ;

I LOVE DJ.PINYE coz he made me push harder when he told me to let go of repping my ghetto Kibera and that my music would never sell as much as Octopizza’s sad story would, Just coz he’d decided to work with Octo.

I LOVE DJ.PINYE because by neglecting to play me on TheBeat (The hottest music show on tv at the time) he actually forced me to pursue other means of reaching my potential fans and get out of that comfort zone that many musicians lounge in.

I LOVE DJ.PINYE because by trying (knowingly or unknowingly) to make me invisible and miserable he actually forced me to create my own spot light and my own lane, it might have taken me a bit longer than my peers but i derive Great Pride in knowing that so far all i am is because of me 😎

I love everybody who loves everybody, somebody got to love somebody at some point.
Music is something that comes natural to everybody and it's a language that everybody can understand, I understand it and that's why I speak it
fluently, do you.
