Kenya Power is currently trying to sort out Kenyans who are still in darkness since late afternoon today in many parts of the country.
Kenya Power says, that power supply has been restored to its customers in parts of Western, South Nyanza, North Rift, Central Rift and Nairobi.
The cause of the system disturbance as reported earlier has been identified and is being addressed by KETRACO engineers.
Kenya Power reports that a fault at Isinya Substation is the cause behind the nationwide outage that has affected many businesses and homes.
Additionally, Kenya Power technical team is working on the restoration of power supply to the rest of the country.
They’ve also asked Kenyans to be patient as they fix the issue. Further updates will be shared.
