Real name Omambia Nelson Asaeli, Keemlyf is a new age afro pop music artiste based in Nairobi and cites his main influences as a musical composer and singer from the works of P Square, Redsan Trey Songz, The Carters (Jay z & Beyonce) which he has spent a long time listening to their works.
He honed his skills as a singer by creating new melodies, singing favorite artistes songs and performing them to his friends at school in Machakos Academy back 2011.
Made up of both catchy beats and memorable melody, the song is designed to be a sing along, no doubt.
Having started singing at an early age of 10, Keemlyf has been able curve a sound for himself since the first time he stepped into the music business scene in November 2017. Keemlyf has also been an active participant and performer in High School Music festivals since joining Form 1 up until the forth form.
His high moments while in school include Composing song titled Dunia, while in form 2 that ended up being popular around other neighboring schools and his peers at the time in Ol melil High school in Kilgoris narok County. He was also famed to writing poems for high school music festivals while in form 4, one of them making it to the nationals l, Kasarani Sports Centre 2016 titled maisha.
Later in 2018 he released a song named ‘Banana’ under The BMG Empire which got massive response and support from the masses.
Currently, Keemlyf is closely working with Rashy Beats( Beats Monster), Aloyo, Symo on the Beat on a couple of projects to be released soon under Alka Productions.
He hopes to build networks and establish a good working relationship between his brand and others in the entertainment business. He also hopes to establish his own brand across the region and hopefully across the world.
