Kayvo Kforce is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry today especially the hip hop industry where he is arguably regarded as the new Skool godfather of the genre and rightfully so I might add.
Most people might not know about Kforce’s background and him being bred in the infamous slum of Kibera but he decided to open up about his background in a rather long and somewhat tell-all post about his past as he talks about his mother for the very first time also.
“To those who may be unfamiliar, I was brought up in the sprawling Kibera slum. Just like many other impoverished societies, there are a lot of vices that young people are prone to pick up as they grow. ” Kayvo Kforce said in part.
“Most of these vices are actually deadly with violent crime, prostitution, alcoholism, and drug abuse taking precedence,” Kforce added opening up about the hard life and hardships of one growing up in the ghetto and especially in the Kibera slums.
But thanks to his loving and caring mother, Kforce was able to be guided and molded to become a person who he is today who doesn’t want anything to do with crime, hard drugs, or crime.
“Having a loving and caring, strict overprotective Mother helped me and my Brothers avoid the temptations that plague poverty-stricken youth in my ghetto Kibera.
I may not highlight my background as much as other Kenyan celebrities do but I would like to declare now that my mother has been over the years at the center stage of my career thus far.” Kforce on how much his mother played a major role in his career.
The rapper who has just released a banging single dubbed ‘Eazy’ went on to say how much he loves his mother and he can do whatever it takes to make her happy as long as he is on planet earth.
“She’s been my inspiration when I felt lost as most creatives sometimes experience and my pillar whenever I need her to be.
I LOVE THIS WOMAN MORE THAN WORDS CAN EVER EXPLAIN.” Kforce added.
This is the very first-time Kayvo Kforce opened up and shared his mother’s photo online since the Mother’s day is right around the corner, it was just about right to do so.
Below is the song that the Kibera rapper wrote together with his business partner, Mr. Ke4 to appreciate his mother for everything he has done for him growing up making sure he was on the right path of life.
