Nigerian fast-rising artiste Kaydexx has come through with a new single dubbed ‘Jibi Jibi’.
The song which was released on August 25th on his YouTube account fuses Afrobeats and Amapiano sounds making one harmonious, unforgettable, glorious sound.
In the ‘Jibi Jibi’ song, Kaydexx expresses his excitement for partying, fine girls, and living life to the fullest basically over catchy melodious instrumental produced by Yala Babayala which –as started earlier– fuses Afrobeats and Amapiano sound.
For the curious lot, ‘Jibi Jibi’ is a Nigerian expression to denote being happy at something or excited about something good, it’s predominantly used in the same light as “sha sha” which is a well-known slang expression in Nigeria.
“When I was recording the song, I got inspired by Papa Ajasco, whom I have been a huge fan of since my childhood days. So, while in the vibe of the song, the expression naturally came about and it felt good saying it,” stated Kaydexx in part on a previous interview.
“I also want to send a big shout out to my Producer Yala Babayala, because I was not even expecting this, but he did so well for the song. He is also my vocal trainer here,” added Kaydexx while speaking about the new release.
Kaydexx looks forward to releasing the official visuals for the ‘Jibi Jibi’ song and later on give us an EP that’s still under production.
He first rose to fame after releasing ‘Egwueji’ 5 years ago.
Prior to this release, Kaydexx has previously worked with various Popular African artistes like Naiboi, Kriz Beatz, Harmonize, DJ Kaywise, Dj Spinal, and Reminisce.
