Karun said that the name “Miss” brings back bad memories to the days where older men wanted to take advantage of her even though she was just a teenager.

“Guys please stop calling me *miss* Karun. That’s not my name. Never has been. I associate that name with older men who wanted to smash when I was 16 yrs old and just got into the industry. I heard that *miss* & I shudder. Ew. Gross. Just don’t please.” Karun expound on Twitter why she doesn’t want to be associated with “Miss” anymore.

Also please note:
1. Not all the men in the industry gave me these vibes, but there were a lot, so it still creeps me out.
2. If you ever called me this unknowingly its ok, now you know.
3. If you’re a day one who’s grown with me, evolved with me, respected my phases, THANK YOU! You guys are so dope, and I look forward to making more music for you guys.
