Kariobangi residents have taken to the streets to protest the evictions that took place there that have left thousands of people homeless.

The residents have barricaded roads, outering road by burning tires demanding an audience with President Uhuru Kenyatta concerning their evictions from their homes.

There are currently countless of videos and images that have since been shared and circulated on social media showing the current situation in Kariobangi where residents are protesting expressing displeasure in the government’s decision to evict them during the Coronavirus pandemic period with most of them if not all of them not knowing where to go.

People planning to use outering road have been advised to seek alternate routes since the road is impassable.
