Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has once again captured attention, this time for her appearance in a new gospel song titled ‘Waambie Watulie’ by singer Fire Bwize.
Promoting the song on her social media platforms, Nyamu expressed her satisfaction in supporting talent, emphasizing her trust in God’s providence.
“Supporting talent is so satisfying! Waambie watulie kabisa niko na Mungu na anashugulika. Barikiweni sana,” she wrote, encouraging her followers to stay calm and trust in God’s care.
In the music video, Bwize collaborates with Member of Parliament for Njoro Constituency, Kathambi Chepkwony, alongside Nyamu. The nominated senator donned a striking blue skirt suit, while Chepkwony opted for a chic grey ensemble. Together, they delivered a heartfelt performance, singing passionately and showcasing their dance moves.
This marks Nyamu’s second appearance in a music video. Last November, she made her debut in a Mugithi music video for singer Sarafina Salim’s song “Ruo Rwa Muciari” (“Pain of a Parent”).
Despite her romantic involvement with singer Samidoh, Nyamu clarified that appearing in his music videos is not on the cards for her. She affirmed her support for Samidoh’s career in other ways and emphasized her intention to keep a clear boundary between love and work.
“I cannot appear in his music videos. We do not mix love and work,” Nyamu reiterated.
