Karen Nyamu is alleged to be dating Samidoh and they reportedly have a son together.

The politician-cum-lawyer opened up about her relationship with the Gikuyu vernacular singer in a recent interview on Radio Jambo with Massawe Japanni.

Nyamu said Samidoh is only his friend, stressing that the married vernacular singer loves his wife and children.

“I don’t care what people say about me, I don’t have the time, they can say all they want. I know my truth. Samidoh loves and adores his wife and kids and as I said, he is my friend. He knows the truth, Whatever the truth is, he is aware of it,” said Karen Nyamu.

Nyamu however refused to confirm or deny whether Samidoh fathered her son when Massawe Japanni asked her about her son’s paternity.

“It is a family issue I want to keep that private, of course, I’m very proud because to say the truth ninatongozwa. I have options. With your mind, you make the decision to chose and I have no regrets on my choice.”

Adding that;

“I gave birth normally like the first one, he is 3 months now. He is a sweet and playful boy like his dad. Massawe don’t put me in a tough corner that is a leading question.”

Asked if she could get married to Samidoh, Nyamu said she had no interest in settling down in marriage.

The mother of two revealed that she is apprehensive about marriage because she dated a violent politician who changed her mind about marriage.

“I  love having children and getting a family is a good thing but I have made the decision based on my past experience.

There was insecurity and obsessiveness. I am not interested in getting married after my past experience with a man who turned out to be very violent. I was in my early 20’s and he was in government.”
