Kapella might have established himself as a serious rap artiste to be reckoned with through the help of his latest project which also happens to be his very first project after some quite some time. The project is dubbed ‘The Real Tape’.
The EP was rightfully named because the project gets real as real can get.
The rapper also doubles as a video director and owns a record label called ‘Kitu Real’ where most of his projects are predominantly recorded and mastered at. The project ‘The Real Tape’ has nine tracks on it with three features coming from Breeder LW, Katapilla, King Shukid, Clay OG Stoner, Hunter, iPhoolish, Misanta.
Most of the records were produced by Carlos who is also carving a name for himself as a serious record producer in the hip hop realm.
Other record producers on the project are Real Me Records, Wes, HR The Messenger, Van The DJ, A-Z, Sam C and HDN.
The project has everything for everybody and once you start streaming it from the first record, ‘Boy Cry Too’ you won’t understand how fast you are on the last record ‘Sorry'(Outro).
This is by far one of the best hip hop projects currently out thus far and this is the project that will most certify Kapella as one of the baddest rappers holding down hip hop the way it’s supposed to in Kenya without a shadow of doubt.
Kapella dropped the entire tape on his YouTube account so that all of his fans can get access to it easily without any hassle whatsoever and he wanted to reward them for being loyal to him throughout his entire career. This project was and still is a somewhat subtle way of telling his fans a big Thank You.
