Kanye West has announced plans to countersue his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, following her recent lawsuit alleging sexual harassment.
In a statement provided to Rolling Stone on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, West’s legal representative vehemently denied Pisciotta’s accusations, labeling them as “baseless” and accusing her of engaging in “blackmail and extortion” after her advances were rejected.
According to the statement issued by West’s publicist, Pisciotta was terminated from her position for being unqualified and demanding exorbitant salaries, including a purported $4 million annual wage.
The statement further alleged numerous incidents of Pisciotta’s “lascivious, unhinged conduct,” including offering West sex on his birthday and sending unsolicited nude images.
The legal representative contended that Pisciotta consistently utilized sexual coercion to demand money and material possessions, citing instances where she allegedly requested items such as a Hermes Himalayan Diamond Birkin bag, a Lamborghini, and plastic surgery.
Additionally, the statement claimed that Pisciotta attempted to blackmail West for $60 million last year after her advances were rebuffed.
The legal rep asserted that Pisciotta’s new allegations were fabricated to garner media attention and discredit West.
In her lawsuit against West, Pisciotta alleged that he had masturbated in front of her and sent her videos of himself engaging in sexual activities with a model.
Pisciotta has not responded to Rolling Stone’s request for comment. However, she posted a message on her Instagram story that suggested she was unfazed by criticism and judgment.
This recent legal battle adds to previous controversies surrounding West’s behavior.
In November 2022, former Yeezy employees claimed that West showed them inappropriate photos of his then-wife, Kim Kardashian.
West has previously acknowledged struggling with a “full-on pornography addiction” that he claims “destroyed my family,” and has referenced sex as a source of design inspiration in the past.
