A little-known lady in Nairobi has captured the internet’s attention by storm thanks to her freestyle.
The young, beautiful, gifted, aspiring musician whose talent was sparked and perpetuated by one Kasa Boss through his Freestyles YouTube show dubbed ‘Kenya Public Freestyle’ has caught the attention of netizens after she flawlessly rapped beautifully, she also subtly rhymed straight off the bat, and even made sense with her lyrics while maintaining the beat’s tempo on the Streets Vybz TV’s YouTube channel that is quickly becoming a vibe in Nairobi streets.
Kanambo Quincher is her name and she’s quickly becoming an internet sensation just the way Azziad Nasenya caught the attention of social media a few years back, ever since she went viral, her life changed for the better, look at God!
Maybe she’s about to blow up just like Azziad Nasenya did a few years ago.
Kanambo Quincher has so far captured the attention of King Kaka who asked for her contacts publicly without getting into details about what he has in store for you.
“Dope! Details please,” King Kaka wrote on his Twitter page replying to the viral freestyle.
It’s paramount to note that King Kaka took Femi One under his wings and changed her life drastically the way he changed Femi One’s life for the better making her one of the best female rappers alive in Kenya today who can stand on ten toes against some of the best rappers in the hip hop scene today.

One rapper is against Kanambo all the hype and the mainstream artistes looking to help out the young Kanambo Quincher by wanting to work with her.
Established female rapper Maandy isn’t impressed by the offers the young, talented aspiring rapper Kanambo is getting from the mainstream rappers who want to work with her.
She says that she doesn’t see any way the mainstream musicians can help her come up in the industry noting that they’re only bent on using her to benefit from her now that everybody is focused on her thanks to her viral freestyle that has captured both the curiosity and attention of Kenyans netizens who loved her rapping prowess despite being green as an artiste, she’s yet to record and/or release a song yet.
“Word of advice to that girl freestyling. Do Not! accept to do a song with any mainstream act! Don’t! You are brilliant on your own, wanataka kukutumia(they want to use you),” Maandy said.
What Maandy shared sparked reactions from netizens with some of the known celebrities chiming in calling out Maandy for the “bad” advice she gave Kanambo Quincher for free.
“Bad advice!!! Word of wisdom if any mainstream big artist wants to work with you, do it my dear! as long as it is a good project piga kazi. Good to learn from them they have made seen a lot and made mistakes that you do not have to make, learn from them ask them anything do not underestimate the pioneers blessing,” comedian Butita wrote on Instagram.
YY also wasn’t left behind on the matter, he had something to share as well. He believes that Kanambo should find a way instead of using the mainstream artistes to catapult her music career instead of allowing herself to get used.
“If you think they are going to use you, look for a way to Use them instead!…,” he gave his two cents on the matter.
