Kamene Goro quit her job at Ebru TV in 2014 and moved to Tanzania to get married to the man of her dreams – the worst mistake of her life.

Kamene has been very open about how her marriage was toxic.

She narrated how her ex-husband was a serial cheat womanizer and how her mother-in-law frustrated her.

“If I left my ex-husband the first time I knew he cheated that would have been two weeks after I started living in with him,” said Kamene while speaking on Kiss FM.

The Kiss FM presenter still regrets giving up her career to go and get married in Tanzania. She feels like she could have achieved so much had she not given up her career to settle in the marriage.

“I have been through one/two heartbreaks. I cried for two days before I prayed about it.”

“God helped me through it. I wouldn’t be here if it was not for him. I was crying because of the time I had wasted. I cut my career shot for 3 and a half years. Do you know how many things I could have done?” Kamene lamented.

Kamene recently revealed that her parents took her back in after her marriage crumbled, this after they chased her from their home when she was 21.

“It doesn’t even matter what kind of family you come from; monied or not, like the first time I move out I was…I actually didn’t move out I was thrown out. I was 21,” Kamene said amidst a peal of cheeky laughter.

Kamene not revealing the reasons for her parents throwing her out, later said she moved in back to the house after her marriage to the Tanzanian businessman hit rock bottom when she was 25 years old.
