What type of love is this! Would you die for me? Kill for me? Kill me? This is going too far! Guys, it isn’t that serious! Life is serious but love should not be life or death!
The man from the G.S.U called Constable Samuel Njoroge was attached to the presidential escort murdered his girlfriend on Saturday evening. The motive for the murder is still unknown but witnesses state that the two had an argument prior to the death in Braidwood House along Tom Mboya street opposite Nairobi Fire Station.
The police officer used his official firearm on his own girlfriend. The deceased was called Anne Wanjohi and ran a cyber cafe known as Web Link Cyber within the CBD. This is unfortunate because this is not the first time this has happened. Every year in Kenya something along this lines has to happen. The whole murder-suicide involving a police officer. While I can condole with the victim and those who survive her, I think there is a big problem in the police force in dealing with psychological issues and their ilk.
This story has no positives maybe only that the cop failed in his own suicide attempt. Sadly, this will not stop until we allow cops to have outlets that don’t involve violence.
