Just the other day I was listening to YouTube with the autoplay button on. I was listening to some Sauti Sol, Nyashinski and my mind got so occupied with what I was doing at the moment with most songs starting and ending without me taking any notice of it but when ‘Kitunguu’ record by Kalahi came on, I had to stop what I was doing to go to check the face of the angelic voice who was singing the vocals and hitting almost all notes I could think of.

Too bad it wasn’t a music video but instead it was a lyric video but all the same the single had me hooked to Kalahi and I instantly became her fan and since then I can’t even count how many times I have listened to ‘Kitunguu’ ever since I discovered the record.

It’s a shame I actually stumbled upon such a hit of a record after almost 3 years since it was released officially on YouTube by the talented singer, vocalist and amazing artiste, generally.

According to Kalahi, she wrote this song ‘Kitunguu’ together with Sauti Sol’s record producer and guitarist, Fancy Fingers trying to tell her story of how one unlucky dude made her feel onions instead of bananas.

” Ever dated someone who left you onions instead of bananas?? Well, check out this visual story by Kalahi about a Kitunguu she dated.” she said about the addictive ‘Kitunguu’ single.

It’s not all artistes in the music industry has the power of making their music stay relevant years after years since they release their record and clearly Kalahi doesn’t have that problem since it’s 2019 and I am still loving her ‘Kitunguu’ song that I can’t listen to it more than enough times, it’s also absolutely soothing when you bump it on your home theater when you are just chilling at home or even when you are working, walking, working out. In short, ‘Kitunguu’ is a must-have record for you all and it easily resonates with anyone.

Kalahi really outdid herself on this one, after listening to ‘Kitunguu’ am sure you would want to listen to more of her angelic voice, can’t wait when she will release her latest record already.

Such a heavenly talent.
