Marioo sparked speculations about Paula being pregnant for her with the congratulatory message he sent her on social media.
The message by the Bongo singer seemed to confirm that the two were expecting their first child together.
“Hongera sana mpenzi wangu ❤️ @therealpaulahkajala proud of you 🙈 I can’t wait,” Marioo shared on Instagram.
However, during the launch of her daughter’s store, Kajala set the record straight as to why Marioo was congratulating Paula.
Kajala said Marioo was only congratulating Paula for opening a new store, insisting that her daughter was not pregnant.
“Omari alipost kama kumpongeza Paula kwa ajili ya kufungua duka lakini kwa kuwa binadamu tayari wanadhania kuwa Paula ana uja uzito, kwa hilo wamejijibia wenyewe. Sisi inabidi tuwaangalie tu kwa kuwa wao ndio wanaongea lakini sisi tunajuwa Omari alikuwa anazaungumzia duka,” Kajala told reporters.
Paula on the other hand noted that pregnancy was not something someone could hide, noting that everyone will know when she is knocked up.
“Nikiwa nayo mtaona kwa sababu mimba haifichiki,” Paula said.
To further emphasize the issue, Kajala said that her daughter will get pregnant in due time.
“Vijijini watu wanajifungua hata wakiwa na umri wa miaka kumi mpaka kumi na minne, kwa hiyo msitake kuhukumu kwa sababu paula anaonekana mitandaoni. Yeye mwenyewe akiona anataka kujifungua mwacheni ajifungue,” he said.
In addition, Kajala praised Marioo saying that he is respectful.
Regarding to Mario marrying Paula, Kajala said that he had not yet informed her daughter’s father P Funk Majani.
“Sijaongea naye kwa muda mrefu. lakini kuna vitu vinavyoendelea lazima nimshirikisha yeye ni baba,” she said.
