Veteran Tanzanian actress Fridah Kajala Masanja has continued to confess her great love for singer Omari Mwanga aka Marioo.
Marioo is currently dating Kajala’s 21-year-old daughter Paul and the two have been proud to show their love in public for the past several months.
In a short statement on her Instagram page on Monday, Kajala recognized Marioo as her only son and opened up about her love for him.
“The only son I have @marioo_tz makopa mengi sana kwako,” Kajala wrote and attached heart emojis that symbolize love.
Kajala’s message was accompanied by a picture of the hit singer ‘Mi Amor’.
On Saturday evening July 22, 2023 , Kajala threw a big party to celebrate her birthday where Marioo was among the invited guests who graced the occasion. The actress celebrated her special day in style as she turned 40.
Marioo used the occasion to pour love on his mother-in-law and appreciate her for giving him his daughter.
“Upendo ambao naupata kutoka kwa mama mkwe ni mkubwa sana. Tushaongea vitu vingi mimi na mama yangu, tumeshapanga vitu vingi sana. Mimi niseme tu nampenda sana na Mungu amfanyie upesi mambo yazidi kuwa mazuri,” Marioo said before the guests who had gathered for the party.
He added; “Nafurahi kwamba kanikabidhi mtoto, sio rasmi lakini. Nimefurahi, nashukuru nampenda sana mama yangu. Mungu akubariki.”
After his speech, Marioo reached for a bag full of cash that he intended to give to Kajala as a birthday present.
Before receiving the money, Kajala opened up about the good relationship between her and her son-in-law Marioo.
She recognized the singer as her son and revealed that they are making big plans together.
“Omari ni kijana wangu. Tuko poa sana, tunaingia vizuri mno. Tunaongea vitu vingi sana, ata asiponipa mimi chochote hapa, niko poa kwa sababu kuna vitu vingi sana tunafanya nyuma ya pazia nyinyi hata hamjui. Uwepo wake hapa ni mkubwa mnachotaka atoe kwenye sahani. Shukran kwa kuja,” Kajala said.
After being praised, Marioo continued to shower his girlfriend’s mother with an unknown amount of money.
