Britney Spears was impregnated with fellow singer Justin Timberlake over two decades ago but she terminated the pregnancy.
The songbird spoke about aborting Justin Timberlake’s unborn baby in her recently released memoir ‘The Woman in Me’.
After releasing the memoir, Britney Spears apologized to Timberlake over the comments in her book.
“I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry,” Spears shared in a post on Instagram on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
“I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’ it is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ??? PS ‘Sanctified’ is wow too,” she added.
However, Justin Timberlake dismissed Britney Spears as a nobody while speaking to an audience in New York City.
“I would like to take this opportunity to apologize — to absolutely f—ing nobody,” he said.
Timberlake was seen on video issuing the profane non-apology to the Irving Plaza crowd Wednesday night January 31, 2024, before he sings the 2013 hit “Holy Grail,” a Jay-Z track he is featured on.
Reacting to Justin Timberlake’s insulting remarks, Britney Spears on Thursday February 1, 2024, deleted the apology she had made to him on Instagram.
She also took a swipe at her ex-boyfriend.
“Someone told me someone was talking s— about me on the streets!!! Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time??? I’m not sorry!!!,” Spears wrote.
Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears dated between 1999 and 2002. She said she felt Justin was the love of her life when they were together, and that around late 2000 she learned she was pregnant.
