Juliani has not been getting any shows for the past 10 years, apparently because Kenyan event organizers ‘blacklisted’ him from locally organized concerts.

The gospel rapper is a veteran in Kenyan music showbiz but unlike his music peers, Juliani hasn’t been performing in events and concerts.

The events that he has performed at are the ones he personally organized.

Juliani has since revealed that event organizers have been snubbing him because of his openness in ideologies, while at the same time disclosed that most of the promoters who had approached him could not afford his rates.

The recently married rapper however noted that going forward he is getting booked for gigs and concerts and would give his fans the best.

The recently married rapper performed at the Beats and Eats festival in Mombasa over the past weekend.

“Okay! Wacha ni open up. Some years ago even now I hardly get booked for gigs so I create my own. For the last 10 yrs. Please note, I have broken even with minimum 3K attendance. Lakini this time ni soft life….finally booked. Jeshi yangu ya mwambao si tufanye mambo,” Juliani said.

The rapper noted that the reasons why he wasn’t get booked for the past 10 years by events promoters were because of the ideologies that he strongly believes in and also because he’s allegedly way too expensive for them to afford them, assumption of his number and last but not least, because people tend to believe that he’s somewhat “preachy” on his shows.

“Some of the reasons why I hardly get booked. 1) Openness on my ideologies…2) wase waezi afford… 3) assumption on my number..4) people assume I am “preachy” yet with my live set I have the most fun. Okay & a lil preaching! budah! Hakuna noma just saying,” he shared on Twitter.
